An independent road loop on Gozo: Mġarr, Xlendi, Dwejra, Ta’ Pinu, Xwejni salt pans, Ramla and the Citadel, returning to Mġarr. Allow about 6 hours for the full option with short stops, or 4 hours for the short option. Mġarr is the arrival point; confirm the actual vehicle collection and return location in your booking.

Mgarr Harbour
Gozo's main port — dramatic cliff-framed approach visible from the ferry. Your adventure on Gozo starts here. Fort Chambray (1749) overlooks the harbour.

Local note
Drive on the left. For planning, allow no more than 40 km/h, slower on bends and narrow streets; always obey any lower posted limit. Use permitted roads only, never beaches, salt pans or cliffs. Park legally and walk the final approach. Check licence, age, child seats, fuel, security deposit and insurance before payment. Time excludes the crossing from Malta. Do not add a long lunch, museums or a swim to the full loop without extending the hire.
